Charter Elevator Names Jeffrey Thompson President and CEO

Charter Elevator has appointed Jeffrey Thompson as President and Chief Executive Officer following the retirement of company founders Scott Gaskill and Bill Miller.
As part of the planned succession, Thompson and Ben Rabin have entered into an agreement to acquire ownership of the company. Rabin will become Head of Revenue, leading customer relationships and supporting Charter Elevator’s growth across North Carolina and South Carolina.
The transition is intended to maintain leadership continuity and preserve the company’s independent operating model. Charter Elevator will continue providing elevator maintenance, repair, modernization and emergency services under the same name and from its existing locations.
Under its new leadership, the company plans to expand across the Carolinas while maintaining its focus on safety, technical quality, responsive service and customer relationships.
