APSON Motor India Private Limited has laid the foundation stone for a new 55,850 sq. ft. production unit equipped with advanced automation and manufacturing technology.
Once completed, the expansion will increase the company’s total production area to 79,850 sq. ft. APSON states that this will make it India’s largest production unit dedicated to elevator gearless traction machines.
The expanded facility is expected to help APSON manufacture more critical components in-house, strengthen product quality and consistency, improve operational efficiency and reduce dependence on external suppliers. It will also support the company’s plans to serve customers in India and international markets.
The investment reflects APSON’s focus on domestic manufacturing, technological development and the broader Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
The development was announced by Hiren Panchal, Managing Director of APSON Motor India and Vice President of EECMAI.
