TK Elevator is scaling its AI-enabled elevator service model in North America while expanding the market coverage of its EOX platform across Europe and the Americas.
According to the company, the AI-based service approach is already delivering early operational benefits. The model is designed to support technicians with equipment insights, improve maintenance planning and help identify potential issues before they affect elevator availability. However, TK Elevator has not disclosed specific performance data from the programme.
The company is also broadening the application of its EOX platform across new installations and modernization projects. Demand for EOX-supported installations has increased in Europe and the Americas, helping the company offset slower new-construction activity in China and South Korea.
In Asia-Pacific, TK Elevator plans to pursue further opportunities in elevator modernization and maintenance while expanding its presence in growth markets such as India and the Middle East.
The company is also developing a new elevator and escalator manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, through TKE ALAT, its joint venture with ALAT, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Construction formally began in June 2026. The facility is expected to support Saudi Arabia’s long-term infrastructure and urban-development programmes.
Separately, TK Elevator said its planned combination with KONE remains under regulatory review, with completion expected no earlier than the second quarter of 2027.
