Public bid-result information shows that one bidder participated, qualified technically and proceeded to the financial evaluation stage, with KONE Elevator India ranked as the winning bidder.

The procurement listing shows a disclosed bid value of approximately ₹15.43 lakh. However, this figure should be treated as the value published alongside the bid information and not necessarily as the final contract consideration unless confirmed through POWERGRID’s formal Letter of Award or contract disclosure.

Focus on Lifecycle Maintenance

The contract reflects the continuing importance of long-term maintenance in ensuring the reliability and availability of vertical transportation systems within residential and operational infrastructure.

For lift manufacturers, maintenance contracts also form an important part of the equipment lifecycle, extending the relationship beyond installation to periodic servicing, preventive maintenance and ongoing operational support.

With the two-year AMC, KONE will be responsible for maintaining the specified lift installations serving the residential tower buildings at POWERGRID’s HVDC Agra Station.
