Odyssey Elevators has expanded its physical presence in India with new experience centres in Chennai and Lucknow, strengthening its reach in the country’s growing premium home-elevator market.

The expansion gives homeowners, architects, developers and other industry professionals additional locations where they can experience the company’s home-elevator solutions through physical demonstrations before making purchasing decisions.

New Corporate Headquarters and Experience Centre in Chennai

Odyssey Elevators inaugurated its new Corporate Headquarters and Elevator Experience Centre in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai, on September 7, 2026. The facility has been positioned as an important part of the company’s next phase of expansion.

According to the company, the experience centre enables visitors to explore aspects including ride quality, materials, finishes, safety features and customisation options in a physical environment.

The Chennai facility also becomes the company’s new corporate headquarters as Odyssey continues to expand its operations across multiple Indian markets.

Odyssey said it has grown from an initial team of five to nearly 100 professionals, alongside an expansion of its geographic presence. The company is led by Founder Directors Raamkumar, Ramachandran and Thanumalaya Perumal, whose leadership team brings more than two decades of elevator-industry experience.

Lucknow Centre Strengthens North India Presence

The Chennai expansion follows the inauguration of Odyssey Elevators’ new Corporate Experience Centre in Lucknow on September 1, 2026.

The Lucknow facility represents a significant step in the company’s expansion into North India, particularly Uttar Pradesh and surrounding markets. The centre was inaugurated by founders Raam Kumar and Thanumalaya Perumal in the presence of customers, architects, builders, channel partners and industry representatives.

The centre provides live demonstrations of the company’s home-elevator solutions, allowing prospective customers and industry professionals to experience the products directly.

Expanding the Home-Elevator Experience

Experience centres are becoming an increasingly important part of the home-elevator sales process, particularly in the premium residential segment, where elevators are often selected not only for vertical transportation but also as part of a home’s architecture and interior design.

For buyers, a physical experience centre provides an opportunity to evaluate factors such as cabin design, finishes, available space, ride experience and customisation before installation.

Odyssey’s expansion in Chennai and Lucknow reflects its strategy of building a wider customer-facing presence as it targets the premium residential mobility market.

The company’s website currently lists a presence across several Indian cities, including Chennai, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore and Goa.

A Growing Premium Home-Elevator Market

Demand for home elevators is expanding alongside India’s premium residential and villa market, with accessibility, convenience, ageing-in-place requirements and residential design increasingly influencing vertical-mobility decisions.

Odyssey’s latest expansion places greater emphasis on physical product experience, giving potential buyers and industry professionals an opportunity to evaluate its solutions before installation.

The opening of the Chennai and Lucknow centres therefore represents more than the addition of two locations. It signals the company’s push to build a broader presence in India’s evolving residential elevator segment.
