The four-day event will combine exhibits with education on safety, modernisation, workforce development and emerging technologies.
The National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) will hold its 2026 Convention & Expo in Chicago, United States, from 28 September to 1 October. The event will bring together elevator contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and industry leaders.
According to the organiser, the exhibition will feature more than 200 exhibits showcasing products, equipment and technologies for the elevator industry. Visitors will have opportunities to meet manufacturers and service providers, explore solutions and discuss operational requirements with industry specialists.
Education will form a central part of the programme. Expert-led sessions will address safety standards, modernisation trends, workforce development and emerging technologies influencing vertical transportation.
Alongside the exhibition and educational sessions, the convention will provide opportunities for professionals to exchange experience and establish industry connections. NAEC describes the gathering as attracting approximately 2,000 owners and elevator professionals.
