Arun Bhatia has been named Managing Director for Southeast Asia at KONE, succeeding Edward Loy, who is retiring after 11 years with the company.
Bhatia will oversee regional business performance, including profit and loss responsibilities, and lead growth initiatives across key Southeast Asian markets.
With more than 35 years of experience in building and climate solutions, Bhatia began his career at Voltas before taking on leadership roles at Carrier across India, Asia-Pacific and global operations. His responsibilities have spanned regional strategy, product management, exports and data centres.
Before joining KONE, he served as Carrier’s Regional Managing Director for Southeast Asia and Global Exports.
The appointment places Bhatia at the helm of KONE’s Southeast Asian business as it addresses the region’s evolving building and infrastructure requirements.
