Schindler has been named among Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2026, ranking 193rd among 900 companies worldwide. According to Schindler India, the recognition marks the company’s fourth consecutive appearance on the annual list.
The ranking, developed by Forbes in partnership with market research firm Statista, evaluates multinational employers through independent employee feedback.
For the 2026 edition, more than 300,000 employees across more than 50 countries were surveyed. The final list features 900 companies headquartered in 52 countries.
Respondents were asked how likely they would be to recommend their employer to family and friends. They also assessed workplace factors such as benefits, talent development, work environment and training opportunities. Participants could evaluate previous employers and other companies they knew through professional experience or personal connections.
Survey responses were combined with data from the previous three years, with greater weight assigned to recent feedback and evaluations from current employees. Forbes states that companies do not pay to participate or secure a place in the ranking.
In its announcement, Schindler said the recognition reflects its continued focus on creating an environment where employees can develop their expertise and build meaningful careers. Schindler India also acknowledged the contribution of its colleagues worldwide to the company’s continued inclusion.
